		<description>Not sure about the comments stating that the British rail networks is one of the best in the world although links between major cities are good.

It may be worth considering the Brit Xplorer pass valid on National Express and Scottish Citylink coaches. While the links between major cities aren&#039;t as frequent as rail services and are slower but if you are on a tight budget and not too concerned about the length of journey these might be worth checking out. They can be bought in the UK from National Express or Scottish Citylink offices which are present in most cities and large towns. There are also offices at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Manchester airports.
